I need a filter for a 30g planted tank, it's going to be in my living room. I do not want a HOB filter. I am thinking a canister filter with a lily pipe, but what filter do i get? anything available in the $70 range?
i plan to have some stemmed plans with baby dwarf tears as a carpet, it'll have a betta in there with some neon tetras and some other misc fish.

You could try one of those SunSun canister filters from Ebay.

is the flow rate on the sunsun adjustable? what model would i get? only see 1 or 2 on ebay HW-302
