So EI is working tremendously well in my 5G that is full of stem plants.

However, I'm starting a new nano with the following flora:

  • Mini Pellia
  • Tawian Moss (and perhaps other mosses)
  • HC (but not as a carpet, rather clumps to simulate bushes)

I've got a 5G (10"x10"x12+") with a Fugeray-r. Although I intend to use injected CO2 to fend off algae (and CO2 only helps plant growth even if it's marginal), I'm not sure if any ferting is required for these rather slow growers.

Also the light will be pretty intense in same areas due to them being significantly elevated (less than 9" from the light).

Thanks for your input!
