Fenbendazole & Taiwan Bee Shrimp

Unfortunately I found some planaria in my TB tank. I have dosed fenbendazole many times in some of my other shrimp tanks and never had any ill effects on any of my shrimps. But I lack confidence dosing my TB tank. Probably because it's the newest addition to my shrimp collection. Also, there are babies and prego mamas in the tank. Anybody dosed their TB tank using fenbendazole? How did your shrimps respond to it? I'm curently plucking them out as I find them and have a catcher which seems to be pretty useless in catching.

I did 3 doses each of .1 grams in a 5g tank.

Shrimp don't seem to care one bit still feeding and two berried. Tank has WR, BB, KK, etc.

What I did was take a tea bag clean it out and place meds into the bag and hang on edge. This way if anything seems to be going wrong I remove tea bag and a quick WC should clear out most of the med.

Shrimp are also kind of dumb and seem to eat the larger granules that don't dissolve right away so tea bag help stop that.

That's a great idea! I'm assuming nothing went wrong?
I recently had to dose some in my main TB tank ( BB, BKK, Shadow pandas, WR and RR. Also, some berried mamas and some babies. I did a very, very, very, very small dose of Fenbendazole. Hydra is gone but did notice some babies were missing and still are :(. Did not have a major disaster like the first time I used it.
Nope nothing wrong everything went just fine for me.
I have used it on several types of shrimp. No ill effects. Remember dosage is quite small. .1 g per 10 gallons if I remember correctly. Use a digital scale.
I've used it in the past and never had a death. Just nervous when it comes to the tb's. I may dose it tonight.
I used it with CRS, tangerine tiger shrimp, blue bee shrimp, RCS, Amano shrimp, all went well no death except for the planaria.
Thanks for all your coments! It's a real confidence booster. Here goes nothing!
It's been 24 Hrs later and all is well
No planaria noticed
No dead shrimp
