My biggest Amano shrimp, Mud Bug, shed her skin today. Now the bottom of her belly looks dark. Is she pregnant?

looks like it. i think the babies need brackish water to survive though

Yes she has eggs but they do need brakish water to survive

Thanks guys. Not sure who knocked her up. She must have come that way from the store. I thought her pals were girls.
