Hi Rachel and Welcome to TPT!

Once you have a few more posts, you should be able to post a pic of your frog and we can help you identify it.

I'm sorry your frog ate one of your baby fish but that is what some frogs eat in nature.

Frogs frequently get labeled as beginner friendly or good tank mates but the reality is that frogs have fairly large mouths for their size and they definitely prefer live food. If it's a clawed frog (as opposed to a dwarf frog) it will also get big enough to eat most normal aquarium fish. If its a dwarf frog it will still eat most anything it can fit in its mouth just like most fish.
