Anyone ever heard of using this in a planted aquarium with fish and shrimp? I'm thinking capsuled like people do with osmocote. Anyone know if these ingredients are safe for fish or shrimp if this fert was capsuled and put down in the substrate. I don't even think you can still find this stuff but I thought I'd check here and see if anyone has ever worked with it in their aquarium before.

Thanks!

The metal thing at the bottom with the link to the site is one thing that concerns me and I actually don't know much about.

There are residual metals in almost all (if not ALL) fertilizers. Its just the nature of the beast. Nothing that you should be worried about IMO.

I've been using a natural fertilizer by Happy Frog brand and it seems to be working great. It has added bacterias that helps break down organic matter into plant usable substances and so far I've seen very good results. I think you would be fine using that product you have there.

How do you administer yours? Do you put them in capsules and then put them down into the substrate?
Yeah. I have some 00 gel caps that I pack full and press them into the substrate.
Awesome, Thanks!
