That is some great hardscape work! Very nice! I love your selection of plants, and placement.
Obligatory "I look forward to see it filled in!" comment.. :D
Thanks! Appreciate the comments!

Very nice!

Time to trim a little imo. Give it the shape you want. High on the left and low on the right would probably be best.

Although I doubt I could ever bring myself to trim a buce (they are super rare for me, in fact I've never actually seen one, only pics).
Thanks!

Yeah, some of the buce are getting a little scraggly... I will admit though I'm very hesitant to trim them myself. I haven't quite been growing them long enough to know their growth characteristics after trimming...but I guess I'll just have to go for it soon! All I trimmed this weekend was the DHG and the stems in back (which are barely noticeable). I might let the buce grow out just a bit longer, since they're so slow anyway.

A long due update.

Here's a few iffy cell phone pics. Still haven't really done much on this aside from a water change here and there. Not really much algae to speak of, a few threads if you look for them. Inhabitants still just a handful of cherries and a couple amanos.

It's admittedly not well maintained as far as trimming the plants... I've let the stems go wild and they've grown up and out of the tank, in the one picture you can see they've actually reached up past the light. I'll probably just remove the stems before too long as I don't actually like the way they look even in the tank. But for now I've been content to just let things grow, haha.

I'm considering removing the grass up front and just replacing it with shallow sand to make it more open and better display the rocks, we'll see.

Here ya go.

More sand!

I like the idea of more sand. That little bit in the corner is too much of a tease...

If you go for it, it should balance out all that lush looking growth, which is looking nice BTW.

Very nice tank...now go clean your pipes
Thanks, and I know, haha. This tank has thrived on negligence. :proud:

Yeah, I'm thinking it'll have to come out. Thanks for the comments!
