You might want to look closer. They might be stuck to the under side of a leaf or are eaten.
Espei Rasbora 'fake' spawning?
Hi All
my Espei Raspboras are behaving like they would constantly spawn, but I've never seen any eggs layered by female, is it a normal behavior? females look like they carry eggs with full bellies, and it looks like they're spawning but no eggs

A lot of times with egg scatterers it's really hard to see the eggs, because they are generally glass clear. Also if these are Lambchop rasboras, they could be hiding eggs under the plant leaves like Harlequin Rasboras do.
