Can anyone post some pics of your endler livebearers? And what plants do you suggest when keeping them.

If you are keeping both males and females, be prepared for fry. Java moss is great for the fry to hide in and feed off.

are those black bar? and how come on this website http://order.endlers.comxa.com/ it sells different grades of them?
These fish were sold to me as N-Class Black Bars. I believe that the N-Class means that they can be traced back to their natural source and are "pure bread" (ie. no cross breading with guppies). I am not sure what the grades are all about.
Some suggest that true endler's are rare nowday's unless you buy them from breeder and even then ,,I would be suspect unless I knew breeder very well.
Nearly all endler's nowday's have at some point been cross bred with guppies.
Could be why different grade's are listed?
This is one of my species #2. I got them from lotsoffish on aquabid. We belong to the same fish club here in buffalo. He has not bred them with guppies. As previously stated, you need to have a reputable breeder to believe they are n class. Mine are. I have tons of guppy grass and java moss for the fry to hide in so they are very prolific for me.
the species #2 looks really cool
swamp river aquatics has a lot of info about Endlers. They breed several different lines for colors, and they have N class and Guppy hybrids available.

i saw. they are from AdrianHD right? With this link, the page that comes up are the pure strain ones (or N class) right? http://swampriveraquatics.com/
I can't seem to find where to purchase though
I think the different grades: A, B, C, refer to how well the fish conforms to the "standards" of that endler variation. For example, a black bar endler should have a nice continuous stripe of black. if the stripe is broken, then the grade is lower.
Ive got some from swampriveraquatics also. The fire red top yellow swords. Pure endlers N class. Beautiful fish

where can I purchase them on that website. I don't see a button. Can you also take a picture of your fish?
when I pulled up the link that is in post #9 it says they can be found on aquabid. So if I am understanding that statement correctly, they are selling their stock threw aquabid. I know I have seen them post Endlers for sale there before!

I too LOVE the pure bread Endlers! Line breeding is cool to me, but I am not a fan of cross breeding, AT ALL!!! And I could fill up a whole Gig of space on why, but you didn't ask for that! lol

I just wish I could find some locally!!!

Good Luck with finding some GOOD Endlers!!!

yeah. i don't like the cross bred kinds. they look terrible

The link you refer to above is from a known and reputable breeder (Joe Fraga). I have bought all my black bar endler stock from him. Easy to deal with and healthy fish. My colony is still young so not much to post yet. He does sell his best stock at a premium price so if you are interested, you may want to settle for the lower grades. You are bound to get solid black bar endlers in some offspring.
