Has anyone taken a submerged propagation and turned it to an emersed ludwigia repens plant?

I've been experimenting with HOB filter plants such peace lilies, mints, and pothos.

Would a ludwigia repens stem placed in a HOB grow?

I've got L. Repens growing emersed in a little plastic container with dirt. I don't see why it won't grow in your HOB.

I would imagine that it would have to be very humid for the leaves to not dry up. Doesn't work out here in california.
