I'm thinking about starting up an emersed set up, and I was wondering if you can actually have too much light?

What are you considering "too much"?

You can get away with tons of more lighting with the dry start method, as you don't have to worry about CO2 and such. Just be sure to keep the humidity up in the tank and the plants moist.

Thanks, it will be a emmersed set upt for stems,crypts,and downoi. I want them to grow as fast as possible, and I wasn't sure if it was possible to give them too much light.. I'm assuming as long as I can still keep it moist I can have any amount of light

Not sure you can have too much in and emerged set up.
