Anyone know where I can find Emerald eye rasboras in houston? Fish gallery never stocks anything other than cichlids and city pets rarely has a good FW stock.

Well, I've never heard of Emerald Eye Rasboras, but they sound interesting.
Wow, big city like Houston, and only 2 fish stores that aren't very well recommended - I can't believe it ! C'mon Houstonites, tell us where you can get good fish stock - there's gotta be several other places !

I know people on this forum sell them for a little over a dollar. I just don't want to pay for shipping.

Ask a local store to order a dozen of them for you. Often they're not ordered because your average customer finds them too plain and bland-looking and they end up sitting there for months. Which is a shame, because they're nice peaceful schoolers and don't mess with delicate fish or even baby shrimp (at least they won't if you have a deep tank, as they tend to stay in the top half of the water column).

Thanks Robb - not a bad-looking little fish. But can you get them anywhere in Houston ?
I think that's one of the things Jeff wanted to know.
