So, long story short. Wanting to make a carpet out of the even tinier version of the dwarf hairgrass on my new 25cm cube. The substrate is ADA Amazonia and is sloped from the back where the shallowest of it is 1.5cm. Do you think I could make a carpet in such a shallow substrate? I'd rather save my $20 for some shrimp rather than a 3L bag of the Amazonia. I'll be dosing ferts and liquid carbon if that has anything to do with it...?

Should be fine? Can you post a picture, I'm not too good with spatial imagination, sorry hahaha.
By the way it may carpet REALLY slow since you're dosing liquid carbon.
