A raccoon paid a visit to my barrel pond last year and wiped out all my poor fishes. It came back every day to check out if there were any new treats until I installed the electric wire. It got zapped soon after then it never came back again. All the fishes are happy ever after.roud:

nice! Man I have been wondering what have been eating my fish for the past few months. The other day I found this exotic looking feather. Found out an owl ate all my goldfish and two giant plecos. That fence would of been sweet

It is probably Water Plantain.

When you look at the second picture, you can see there is a frame in the barrel. I made a PVC ring frame as big as the inner diameter of the barrel and jammed in there. I then tied up a few more straight PVC tubes to make a frame just to hold the plant pot and the fountain. Hope this helps.
