I have a new ADA 60p rimless tank, I plan on having it as a planted tank. I was all set to buy the Eheim 2215 for it when I came across this thread:

Niptek has the same size tank and he's using the 2217. Should I just go ahead an get the 2217? I don't want to over do it, but I'd rather buy once, than have to upgrade down the road.

Thoughts?

Buy the 2217. You won't regret it. I had one on my 20 gallon and almost wanted more, but that's just me :tongue:

Hello Ryan, I too have a 60p and an Eheim 2217. I couldn't be happier with the combination. If I had to do it all over again I would still go with the same setup.

Here is what the tank looks like. The water remains crystal clear because of the over filtration.

Then it's settled. I'll be picking up the 2217 this week. I've been spending a lot of time looking at all your tanks and am slowly gathering the essential equipment...
