I came home today to find that my filter output had slowed to a mere trickle. I immediately checked the filter itself to make sure there weren't any air bubbles and even restarted the filter several times...it would shoot out then trickle again. Problem: my tubing had a kink in it. How do you guys prevent this tubing from kinking....just make it JUST long enough for the intake/output or what?

Cut a slit lengthwise in a larger diameter piece of tubing and cable-tie it over the kinked section.

If only I had some larger tubing. I just fixed it with a shorter piece of tubing I had laying around (fit perfectly, oddly enough). No more issue.

I reshaped my 2213 filter hoses with hot water and a heat gun..

and a lot of patience.
