So the priming pump on my Eheim 2026 is getting quite sluggish and difficult to pump (it requires a lot of force using both hands and a good amount of body weight). I read the silly manaual that comes with it and it says, "Use a flattened cotton bud" to "grease the priming [bearing / ring(?)]". I intreprested this as take a q-tip, load it with some vasaline, and try to jam the vasaline into the very narrow circular area around where the priming "button" compresses. This is almost impossible to do with a q-tip. Perhaps I'm just an idiot, but I've tried doing this twice now and it hasn't helped at all. Can someone describe this better or take a picture to show me what I am suppose to do? Sorry for the hassle, but I know that there has to be a better way
