I have a long leafy plant that grows on driftwood rather than in a substrate (Java Ferns?). I've recently noticed what looks like egg sacks on the underside of the leaves. These sacks are circular and contain many small brown dots which I assume are some sort of egg or seed. These sacks are more or less evenly placed along the entire underside of some, but not all of the leaves, but do not seem to be doing damage to them.
My first assumption is that it is some sort of snail, but I really haven't seen snails in the tank. I have clown loaches, rainbow fish, red-tailed sharks, and a type of orange algae eater.
Anybody have any idea what this could be? I have pics, but I don't see a way of posting them here.
Thanks for your help.
