I was considering going to the Konvention until I saw the lineup... don't know what I was expecting as they are staying true to their name.

Well it's anything from shell dwellers to 10 foot fish. If there was more emphasis on south, and central american cichlid's i'd be inclined myself to go.
I kinda want to go to AKA
Same, the 7 hour drive one way is a kick in the backside.

Right! Some of the tfsri guys are going, but they're going up a day early because they're involved somehow.. Kinda wish I could bum a ride with them.
There should be some really good talks and amazing fish available at the AKA convention.
Maybe after I move and can set some bigger tanks up.
I plan to attend the auctions at a minimum since it's only a 45 minute drive for me, and I work in SYR any ways.

Have a gniess day. -Scott
Now we're debating between AKA or the TFCB Anniversary Event :/

Why do they have to be so close together?
I'd say the AKA would probably be more worth your while. Could do both :)
Sure, wanna cover both my weekends at my job for me? ;)
If i wasn't moving that week maybe~>
Well I can offer you guys to meet up in Albany. I'm about two hours east of Syracuse. You can stop here and stretch your legs in either direction.
I'm really happy that the konvention is in Parsippany again this year as it's very close to me. I definitely recommend that anyone who can make it go. It's not necessarily a monster fish strictly thing; a lot of vendors there cater to various fishkeeping niches.
