Hello everyone, I've had my DP for over a year now with no real issues, but several months ago I noticed a small growth of sorts under its mouth that recently has become alarmingly large. I have no idea what it could be. I've tried treating it with Prazipro and eSHa 2000, thinking it might be parasitic or bacterial in nature, but neither treatments have done anything so far.

Some people have told me it might be a tumor, but aren't tumors very solid? When the puffer is swimming around I can kind of "see through" the huge lump and it is reddish. Could it be nematodes? I'm so worried I might wake up one day to find it dead or in a bad condition. :(

It almost does look like a growth, but more like a very watery cyst than a tumor.

Do you know if he had a small injury there at some point in the past that could have triggered a contained, localized infection though?
