Hey guys I have some dwarf hairgrass that I'm using to carpet the front of my tank. I pulled the hairgrass from my nano tank and almost immediately started shooting nice green runners but some of the original plant is turning yellow and brown. I bought another pot of dhg to show you guys the difference in color. I'm using a finnex fugeray led, co2 3bps drop checker stays green, and dosing pps pro ferts. Is it normal for dwarf hairgrass to turn yellow after being pulled and replanted? Do I have a deficiency? Help please!

Try trimming it, it usually promotes new growth.

Dwarf hair grass is not a good indicator plant for deficiencies. The thin leaf blades make it difficult to tell where the damage starts and the pattern it makes on the leaf blade. Are any of your other plants in either tank looking bad? If so post photos of those (preferably a broad leaf plant rather than a thin leaf one).
