IMO it depends on the tank height and the other inhabitants in the tank.

such as if it was to be a choice between the two for example:

A 20G-long with 7 cardinal tetras I would choose RaMs.

Now if its a 20G high with a school of rasboras I would choose the Dwarf Gouramies

Bolivian ram or Gbr wichever stock looks better @ time of purchase

then again if you are considering to add more Angelfish I would go with the Bolivians becuase they get a bit larger than Mikrogeophagus ramirezi (rams) & much more durable IME.
