Does anyone in Sacramento know where to find Dwarf Cichlids? I can only find a female Albino Krib. Thanks!

What kind of dwarf cichlids? I've seen kribensis (male & female) at Capitol Aquarium, although they don't always have them in. I've also seen them carry something they call "rock kribs", which are slightly different coloration than regular ones. They also usually have german rams and sometimes bolivian. I know they also (sometimes) carry various shell dwellers (sorry, I don't know the actual names).
You can also try O Street Aq, just a few blocks away, or the new place on the corner of Howe & Arden (Fish Planet). It's in the same shopping center as The Punchline Comedy club.
Ever thought about internet sales?

I just got some Apistogramma's from aquabid and the total cost wasn't out of LFS range, actually much cheaper.
My manager gets fish from online and also gets very sickly//dead looking ones so I am going to not try. Also my mom doesnt want to Chance it. Capitol Aqaurium has them but when I go in they never do :icon_mad: so I guess that is a waiting game. O street aqaurium says they have them but I never see the instock. Fish Planet(I live down the street from, probably like 15 min bus ride) has a Female Krib there. I might get a job at fish planet so that might open my chances to see.

P.S. Rarely I get a chance to go downtown, but I guess now I will have to :icon_lol:
Try Jim at Mainly Cichlids in San Jose. He ships if you don't feel like driving and he does an EXCELLENT job of packing. I just got an Apisto panduro male from him (I got two females from someone else) and he has in top breeding condition - gorgeous! Already he's trying to mate even though he's only been in the tank a couple days.
Funny, I was looking for shelldwellers yesterday in Sacramento. None at Fish Planet. Capitol Aquarium had multis and brevis, but wanted $22 each for the multies, and $16 each for the brevis. Outrageous pricing even by Capitol Aquarium standards. Anyone know if Exotic Aquarium has any multis in stock? Don't really feel like driving out to Franklin if they don't.

I might just go with Aquabid.
Capitol Aqauriums prices are quite high! I will check out Mainly Cichlids!
Most good online dealers have live guarantee and just buy from someone with lots of reviews.

I got 7 gold apisto caca's for what one and a half would have cost in a LFS and in much better condition too! if you check out aquabid ApistoDave and Ragmansrams are good people.
ApisotDave on Aquabid has a good rep for sure and any kind of Apisto oyu might want.

I second that. Went over to meet Jim a couple of weeks back. Awesome selection and quality. More than happy to show off the breeding tanks and understands the requirements we have as planted tank enthusiasts.
