Yeah, i have a dwarf Chain sword that has taken over my tanks right side. when i got it it had three leaves the where about 2 inches long. now it is massive with like 20 leaves and many little chain plants coming form it. all having leaves about 7-9 inches long. what is up?

i've seen them get big, like val big.... what are your parameters? mine does nothing except loose its leaves ever since i got it.

mine got that big. I wanted it for a foreground plant but it is more like a midground

You describe very common growth for E. tenellus
it'll grow fast, can be very invasive, and will grow to 7-9"

my e. tenellus sends out runners like an olympic meet and is around 7" tall like apista said. it is definitely not a good low grow foreground plant:icon_wink
