Hi All,

I'm almost a month into the DSM with DHG. I was waiting on a diffuser, which came in today, so I went a little longer with the DSM than originally planned. Anyways, the DHG seems to be doing just fine, but I've noticed very tiny little bugs crawling among the DHG- mostly in the substrate. They're so small, I don't think I could provide a very good description- except that they are a yellowish color.

I don't think they are harming anything, but I'm just curious as to what they are? Aphids?? Anybody else had experience with this? Anyways- I plan on setting everything up in about a week- so I doubt they'll survive "the flood".:icon_twis

Springtails? Try to touch one - if it "teleports", it's a springtail.

Bugs are the norm, I think. Wait til you flood the tank! They'll scatter like crazy.
