I bought some Christmas moss, chopped them up and smeared them on lava rocks for my DSM. I hadn't noticed riccia in the moss but after I flooded the tank, I see two twigs of riccia attached to the rocks. Is this possible? The guy at my LFS told me that riccia and pellia are both liveworts. I know attaching pellia during DSM is possible so why not riccia?
