I know blue is low CO2, dark green is a good level of CO2 and yellow is high CO2. Mine for the last few days has been a medium green, definitely not dark green. Is there a medium green color on both sides of the dark green level or is the lighter, sort of washed out green on the side headed for yellow? The pictures I see posted here show that you should go from blue to blue green to dark green and then it gets lighter, but I never saw that dark green.

I am using a Cal Aqua checker with the ready to go indicator solution. Over the last week I have slowly dropped my pH from 8.26 to today's reading of 7.05.

Dark Green is no good as that means it's closer to blue than yellow. You're probably fine where you're at.
