I just bought what was called a Draculla Plecostomus from a local pet store here. It looks alot like a Vampire Pleco but has red teeth. Pretty crazy looking but a gorgeous fish. I read a little bit online about these and some people are saying they are carnivorous. I thought all plecos were plant eaters.. Can anyone give me some advice on the care of these?

Thanks

Thanks. I am trying to figure out how best to feed it. I tried some frozen krill with no success. I also did not know that they required a current as my tank now has very little of that due to a coupld of eels that I have (fire and peacock). Any ideas on things to try, maybe beef heart?

Beef Heart, unless you are feeding a lot of fish, can be a pain to deal with and not just because it rots. You can feed small strips of seafood from your plate. Make sure to remove any leftovers the next morning.
Cichlid carnivore pellets are great and a lot safer for the other inhabitants. Worms or earthworm sticks are good supplements too.

By the way, all toothy plecos are called vampire plecos, so you may have difficulty getting a species or L number name.
