Dosing with Excel

Hi everyone,

I have a moderately planted 29 gallon tank that currently is running a Finnex FugeRay 30" with 5 mL daily of Excel. I'm having trouble getting my dosing straightened out.

I read on the BarrReport that 1/3-1/4 of the normal EI schedule with monthly water changes would work fine. Is that the case? If not, how should I go about dosing my tank?
