Dosing on K2SO4 in high bioload tank

K2SO4 is fine over a very wide range for livestock.
I would automate the water change with that bioloading.
Eg, 10% daily water change with SG tap water.
If you have a sump/wet/dry type filter, the water can be drained with a small power head to the drain and a float switch replaces the water.
This will work better I think over time.

Thanks. That's why plan as well but singapore housing is like pigeon holes (small!) and doing project like this will means pipings running thru and across the house! Haha.

Quick question .

About to buy a Dosing pump to dose k2so4 and planned to mixed 100g of it into 1.5l of water and dosing of 100ml daily on my 250G high bioload tank. Using the calculator, I should have about 4ppm of K daily. Will these work?

In addition to that, since I have a eheim liquidoser lying around and can use it to dose trace. Will 8ml of it on a daily basis works as well?

If you have used the calculator to figure it out, go with that and monitor the tank.

Rough guide to using K2SO4:
If you start with EI dosing, but do not want to use KNO3 because of nitrates already in the tank from fish food, substitute an equal amount of K2SO4 as a potassium source.
The conversion is so close that this will be just fine.
