dosing flourish excel for 5.5g tank

How much of a capful of flourish excel should I dose and how often?

My 5 day old tank currently has a sword, few strands of dwarf hairgrass, hygrophila, water sprite, and Christmas/ java moss. I am getting a plant package in a few more days which will be mostly small foreground plants.

Or is better for me to use Co2 injection?

look at the directions on the bottle..I think 1ml per 10 gallons, and each thread in the cap is approx. 1ml.

1ml roughly equal to 15 drops (if I remember correctly).

YOu are suppose to do a concentrated initial dose...it says on the bottle, which I don't have in front of me.

the excel is metabolized within 24 hours, so you don't really have to worry about excel build up in the water column.

It's not better necessarily, but CO2 injection tends to yield better results and, in my opinion, is much more fun.
