I have been battling hair algae on my bacopa and cladophora on my substrate and plants. I have this gorgeous little patch of hemianthus that was getting covered in clado. I was trying to hand pick it out, but I kept ripping up my pretty little clump of plants. A couple of weeks ago I bought three ravenous Amano shrimp. I have been loving the ugly little monsters because they have been eating up my problems. This morning, I woke up to this :angryfire:
The moral is: It costs less money to rip up the plants yourself, lol! On the bright side, they ripped up most of the hair algae. After a judicious trim, most of it is gone.
I guess I have some gardening to do.
