have a med tank going and i threw some zeolite in the filter because the med tank filter has no established bacteria. wanted to make sure ammonia is kept in check but started to wonder if the zeolite might be absorbing meds like carbon and making them ineffective? any one know?

yes it should absorb some but not as efficient as activated carbon.

No, I remove all chemical media when medicating a tank.
