Just wanted to share some good news from my PT! :bounce::icon_mrgr

One of my 6 black widow (skirt...) tetras came down with a fluffy white, pink, and red infection on its head. After using some melafix, which showed no improvement, I got pimafix in there ASAP . In the middle of treatment, a few days ago, I also did like 200% h20 change, over 24 hours, and then continued treatment with pimafix, AND melafix.

Today, the infected spot is an off-grey patch, healing beautifully!:fish::fish::fish:

anyways, tl;dr I know what a fungal infection looks like in person ;)

That is good news, glad the problem is clearing up.
A lot of good comes from water changes.

Many meds latch onto any organic matter in the tank, and waste their effort when the tank has fish waste and fallen food and so on.
In a completely bare tank, just the sick fish, the medicine concentrates on the disease.
