Does anyone know where I can get...

Bottles w/pumps, like the ones used for rootmedic or pferts liquid fertilizer stock? I am going to attempt to make my own easy to use liquid stocks, and think that the pump bottles are an awesome way to go. Also, my girlfriend will then be able to help if I just tell her to pump "x" amount into the tank if I'm not home. Any help would be great! :proud:

I purchased cheap clear plastic soap dispensers at Walmart. =p
I saw those on their site, but not exactly what I'm looking for.
And I've found what I'm looking for. Amazing how much easier it is to find something when you're not half alseep!

Something like this?

I don't have the link as I'm on my phone, but I found PET Boston bottles with pumps on specialtybottle.com. They're a dollar and change a piece, and shipping was only $5. Best part, no minimum order. So I got the 4 bottles I wanted shipped for just under $10.
Great find. I really like the simplicity of mixing up a dilute solution of ferts and putting it into the tank. I may conciser doing it once my Pfertz is all used up.

Just wondering what model you decided to go with. I think I was in the right category on the site when I was looking, but I could be wrong. These seemed to be closest to what I see in most commercial liquid fertilizers: http://www.specialtybottle.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=522. Pfertz uses 500mL rounds while I believe Root Medic uses 250mL rounds.

Pfertz uses clear boston rounds produced by Alpha packaging (http://www.alphap.com/). I don't know whether they have a minimum limit on orders, but if that is exactly what you're looking for, you could probably go with something like that. They probably get the orders in smaller amounts from a supplier I would imagine.

Those ones that you listed on specialtybottle.com do look quite good though, and the lack of a minimum order amount is great.

Just sent them an e-mail asking how many ml/pump are there.
The link you posted is to the ones I ordered. I got three of those for N,P, and K and I ordered a blue one for micros. The hard part will be to figure out how much comes out for each pump, but after that the math should be pretty easy.

Ask them if you like. [email protected]

I did, let's see if they reply.
$9.02 shipping for 8 bottles to NYC.
hmmm...I just added 4 bottles to the cart again to check it and it put USPS priority shipping at $4.95.

The only choice for my zip code is UPS for 9.02.
maybe it's where you live then? it does say their option on the shipping.

I guess. My only option is UPS. I think I'll pass and keep using my old dispensing bottles.

A good way to measure is to find a measuring glass that has ml. Pump up to a known level, like 10 ml or 20 ml and then divide the number of pumps into that known quantity. That will get you close to the ml per pump.
Oh, and alpha packaging only sells by the case. So unless you need a gross of 500ml bottles....
