Just wondering how many people use poster/foam board in white as a backdrop, its been my favorite for awhile. Its easy to cut and I think besides liking the look it conserves some light. Also if you have some current at the surface the reflections ripple off the back, not quite mh but pretty neat.

Your glass needs to be super clean for this to work... I tend to get some diatoms/dust algae and while wiping down the front glass isn't a big deal, I wouldn't want to do the back all the time.

I use black. Looks great.

Love it! Mine is a nice deep blue. There is a light dusting of algae on the back glass, but I'm probably the only one who notices it.

I don't use it, but I've thought about how much light might be saved by switching from black to white BG. I personally don't think it would be worth it, b but it would certainly be more efficient.
