So, I recently set up this CO2 bio system for my 20H. It's been setup since Friday but is not yet emitting any bubbles. Does anyone who owns this system know some tricks to getting it to work. Should I replace the mix they supplied with a homemade mix(2 cups sugar/1 tsp. yeast)? All input is greatly appreciated

You can replace the mix that they supply with your own, as it is essentially DIY CO2.

I would double check your setup for leaks first.

Next, when mixing up the yeast with the sugar, be sure not to use water that is too warm, as it will kill the yeast.

About how long before yours began emitting bubbles?

It should begin emitting bubbles within 24 hours at the latest. Check the packages you got with the kit, for an expiration date. Yeast is no good after about 18 months.

Thanks guys, earlier while I was eating my breakfast, I remembered that I bought the system a few months ago and that the yeast had probably gone bad. So I picked up some yeast from Walmart, set it up again, and I'll see what happens
