I was wondering, do albino bristle nose plecos need DW to stay healthy?

I just took my DW out of my tank, and I don't know if I need to supply them with another one (would be smaller and meant just for their wellbeing).

i'm not too sure that it is needed. but they do appreciate it. plus it gives them another place to hide

Long answer: It'd definitely be beneficial. It would give them something to munch on between feedings, otherwise they might develop a taste for your plants.

If I remember correctly, when they rasp wood it is an important part of their diet and helps them to injest their food.

off hand i dont think those are the ones that require it. there are some that can go with out and others its a must. personally i would add some even if it was just a smaller one for them.

The breeder I received my LFABN from told me they require wood in they're diet.
