Hi guys. I detected some staghorn algae and ordered Seachem Flourish Excel already. I would have loved adding some Siamese Algae eaters but the tank is too small.
I know spot treating with excel is really effective against red algae but I'm in no hurry to get rid of the algae, you can barely see it. For me, it would be easier to just dose it normally and wait for it to die, even if it takes a couple of weeks I'm fine with that. The question is, will that work, or will it only be effective enough if I spot treat? The idea of me missing an infested spot is what gives me anxiety.

Note: This is my first post in this forum, I hope I'm not butchering any format or guidelines.
