I believe you'll be just fine. 12 Rasboras aren't much more of a bio-load than a dozen Neons. Go for it.
Yeah but I couldn't find any. I tried one of the sponsors but they were out. My daughters been bugging me for fish. I have 3 male Endlers, was going to get female ones but I may not be able to handle the babies.weren't you looking into CPDs? they'd look great in that setup
well, I don't know how your local PetCo is, but i'm lucky enough to have a pretty good one near me. They're able to order CPDs or Galaxy Rasboras as they call them. I've had 2/12 die, but the others are pretty healthy. Just an idea?Yeah but I couldn't find any. I tried one of the sponsors but they were out. My daughters been bugging me for fish. There are couple of petcos in my area, I'll ask them if they can do that.well, I don't know how your local PetCo is, but i'm lucky enough to have a pretty good one near me. I already bought six, I guess that's would be the limit for them.I would say no to harlequin rasboras. I have 8 in my 15 gallon with a gourami and plants and it looks pretty full. They get way bigger than you think. In the fish store they look cute and small, but they will get an inch or two and fat!
Those aren't harlequin rasboras they look like tetras to me.I've had 6 Harlequins in a tank for over 2 years now, and the largest one has only grown to approx. 1.25"

Yes, the tank also has neons & ember tetras in it - the harlequins just weren't present in the photos I took of the tank (they like to 'play' behind the driftwood). Those aren't harlequin rasboras they look like tetras to me.
