DIY Yeast CO2

Hi im new to this site and love it so far.
I just finished reading the article http://www.plantedtank.net/articles/DIY-Yeast-CO2/7/
and cant wait to try it. The only part im not sure is "If you are running a power filter just stick the tubing into the intake and the impellar will dissolve the C02 very well"

how do you stick the tubing in the intake exactly? Can anyone provide further explaination or some pictures of how to do this step? Thanks

It doesn't matter how you stick it in, or even if you stick it in so long as the bubbles go up the intake tube.

yea thats what i dont get...the the intake tube has no place for me to stick the airline tube though

Here how I did mine..... Hope, it helps...

and this is how I cut my air tube hose....
(I'm using straw to demo it how it cut... )



and I stick (arrow) it in the filter line....

Why? Just unscrew the top, leave the tubing connected..

I just used a dremel and drilled a hole on the top cover of my HOB filter, and ran the tubing directly next to the impeller. Changin was easy, I could just unscrew cap, or pull the tubing out and just shove it back in.

Now I use a powerhead for additional water flow and because the sound of the impellers chopping up the bubbles got annoying.

I like that sound, it lets me know when its time to refresh the yeast/sugar!
