I got 2 pieces of PVC pipe(2 bent ones and a tee pipe) and I plan on using them as caves for my shrimp. I currently have them setting in the tank and you can see the white. How can I make it less obstructive and more visually pleasing.

In the past I coated the pvc in aquarium safe silicone, and then pressed into tray full of dry substrate.

Just make sure you can see into the caves so something doesn't die in there and you don't know about it.

Yeah. The way I want it set up I can see inside the cave but still give the Shrimp some privacy and security.

So many ways to disguise a pipe...

If you want to use paint, I would use Krylon H2O. I got brown, there's a pic of it in my 6.6 build thread...
