I'm making a homemade hood for my tank and was wondering what you guys use to seal the inside of them so any water doesn't warp the wood.

Any ideas?

I'm kind of old school for things like this. I use spar varnish. Most others today use polyurethane.

I use Minwax "Helmsman" Spar Urethane.
