Using the power of the internet and my DA Reefkeeper Elite I created a website that I can use to track current tank status as well as historical data.

Steps we're relatively straightforward, but getting port forwarding working through two routers was a little tricky.

1. Set up reefkeeper .net module
2. set up port forwarding to allow internet access to .net XML page
3. set up cron job on remote server to hit .net XML page every minute, storing values in database
4. Build web page to parse and graph historical data

All in all probably a good day's work to get everything running.

It's actually (probably) less functional than the .net module's own graphing/tracking tools but whatevs.

I think you need some tracking of ambient temperature too... my heaters almost never come on all summer long... so it would not be a simple 12 times multiplication sum.
