My mistake, I didn't mean to say sucrose, I ment glucose. Bread yeast can metabolize glucose faster and better than fructose. So I wanted to give it a go.Indeed; it is a perfectly good waste of soda!
Why would you want to pay more for the soda as well? Just using plain sucrose is better.
