DIY Bubble Counter Questions

1002 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  James From Cali
I was wondering if you can use a medicine bottle as a bubble counter. I noticed you can use a syringe and bottles as a bubble counter but what about a medicine bottle like an Asprin bottle. Would it be able to contain the CO2 bubbles that intend on traveling through there safely?

Thanks,
James

I doubt it. You need a gas tight seal. And most bottles with screw on caps just don't have that.

The exception being bottles with liquids like bottled water and soda.
Okay thanks Rex. I was figuring it wouldnt but worth asking since I couldnt find anytrhing on it!
