I have a number of Sylvania Quicktronic PROstart ballasts made for two 54w T5HO ballasts for sale, model number QTP 2x54T5HO/UNV PSN. They are working fine but slightly scratched up. $10 for the first, $8 for any additional plus shipping (probably USPS priority mail unless there is something cheaper).

I believe they are ~46", I would measure mine exactly but I can't find my measuring tape at this instant.

Sadly T5 is sized to be somewhat incompatible with T12/T8 at (1149mm) and also require a miniature bipin connector. (T8 uses a medium bipin)

These are specifically made to run 54w T5HO, they are also programmed start ballasts so I'm not sure if they will fire the smaller tubes. And yes, one ballast will run two bulbs.
