So right now I feed mostly flake, with occasional algae wafers and frozen bloodworm.

I would like to give my fish a more varied diet.

What kind of kitchen scraps do you feed? Veggies? Fruits? Lettuce? Meat?

How do you prepare/handle the food?

I'm not to the point in the hobby to start a live culture, but anything fresh I can pick up at the grocery store I consider fair game.

Peas shelled, Mysis shrimp, Brine, pumpkin/most gourds, Ken's spirulina sticks, bay shrimp cooked, Romaine,

Really depends on the fish involved.

Many make their own food and then freeze etc or freeze dry etc.
But....you need a lot of fish for that generally.

I use the above with flake, I have a mix of herbivores and plecos, with a meat eaters.

I do not feed worms.

Red earthworms are okay.........
