I'd say try a small piece of plant for 3-4 minutes to see how the plant holds up. Bleach dip takes it toll on some varieties.
disinfecting plants with bleach
i live in florida and have some wonderful pennywort and other great plant growing wild behind my house. i was planning on disinfecting with a 20:1 bleach solution before placing in the tank - my question is would this solution be sufficient and how long do they need to be dipped for? thanks in advance and happy holidays.
