My discus pair decided to lay eggs on the filter intake the day before tank cleaning and water change.
This is the first time they have laid eggs and I don't really know what to do.
I have a 55 gallon heavily planted tank with lots of tank mates. Other discus in the tank are very interested in the eggs but the pair keep chasing them away.
I currently don't own a breeder tank so how do I take care of these eggs?
Will I be killing the eggs if I do a water change? Eggs are about 4 inches below the water level. If I attempt to do a water change the eggs are gonna be exposed to air. Will this kill the eggs?
Please advise on what to do. Thanks in advance.
